Shayashone is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Bright Future in Agriculture (BFA) project implemented with the lead of Maastricht University, Technical and Vocational Training Institute (TVTI), and Arba Minch University in partnership with the Amhara and Oromia TVET Bureaus, SNNPR Bureau of Agriculture, Ethiopian Commercial Dairy Producer Association and Ethiopian Horticulture Producer Exporters Association for the past four years.
The BFA project aimed at enhancing the employability of graduates and ultimately contributing to food security. It is mainly focused on the capacity building of seven Agri-TVETs in the Amhara, Oromia, and SNNPR regions. The closing event that was held on March 7 and 8, 2023 at Harmony Hotel was addressed by H.E. Ato Nigusu Tilahun and H.E. Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mr. Henk Jan Bakker.
SYS has been actively supporting the college-private sector link and the overall coordination.
