Zoetis and SYS Train Ethiopian Farmers on Vaccine Management

In collaboration with Zoetis, the world’s leading animal health company, and its African Livestock Productivity and Health Advancement (A.L.P.H.A.) Plus initiative, Shayashone PLC (SYS) recently conducted a specialized training program for members of the Ethiopian Poultry Producers and Processors Association (EPPPA), focusing on key aspects of poultry vaccines. The training covered essential practices such as proper handling to preserve vaccine efficacy, accurate vaccination techniques for different age groups, and understanding the types of vaccines used in poultry production. By equipping farmers with practical skills in vaccine management, we are enabling them to safeguard flock health, reduce disease outbreaks, and optimize egg and meat production. Empowering farmers with these skills enhances their productivity and supports sustainable poultry farming practices in Ethiopia.
