Institutional e-Learning Policy Guideline

We are in a period where the world is much more interconnected, and the barriers of distance and time are no more major obstacles. Thanks to the Internet, abundant educational resources are available and accessible for use. Human experts are nowadays not limited to their physical location to share their expertise and services which allowed multiple ways of collaboration to take place between teachers and students. This encourages teachers to create a more innovative e-Learning environment. As a result, many Higher Education Institutions (HEI) these days exploit state-of-the-art ICT technologies to deploy their teaching-learning programs on e-learning platforms and are using blended learning strategies that combines both onsite and online delivery of content. Teachers are also encouraged to develop quality e-learning materials and design e-learning activities that create opportunities for lifelong learning with the convenience of learning anytime and anywhere.
