Shayashone PLC (SYS) is honored to be part of the closing event of the Strengthening Host and Refugee Populations in Ethiopia (SHARPE) project, celebrating its achievements and lasting impact.
As a key implementing partner, SYS has played a key role in enhancing agricultural productivity and market access in the Gambella and Somali Regional States.
Working alongside the project team, we set up a regional distribution hub, established demonstration plots, and conducted awareness-raising and capacity-building sessions for farmers, agro-dealers, and vet agents. By providing essential educational and marketing materials, we also strengthened agricultural knowledge and market linkages.
Our efforts impacted over 6,000 farmers across more than 20 Kebeles in Gog, Abobo, Gambella, and Etang Woredas. We also distributed over 70,000 Purdue Improved Crop Storage (PICS) bags via agro-dealers and supplied more than 300 kg of diverse vegetable seeds, contributing to higher productivity and improved food security.
While the SHARPE project has officially concluded, our commitment to delivering impactful products and services and ensuring long-term sustainability continues.

In an effort to expand our influence, we have recently ventured into the education sector. Our success is rooted in strategic partnerships with local, international, and governmental organizations.
