Shayashone’s Consultancy Team is proud to have delivered Business and Entrepreneurship training as part of the Youth Challenge Fund (YCF) program, in collaboration with the Resilient Agriculture for Inclusive and Sustainable Ethiopian Food Systems (RAISE-FS) Ethiopia project and Bahir Dar University. This round of training, for concept note stage finalists from Bahir Dar University, marks the beginning of a transformative journey for young entrepreneurs, setting the stage for their innovative and impactful solutions for Ethiopian food systems. Over the past five days, our participants engaged in 4 comprehensive modules delivered through interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and insightful discussions:
Module 1: Basics of Entrepreneurship and Personal Entrepreneurial Competencies
Module 2: Design Thinking
Module 3: Business Planning and Business Model Canvas
Module 4: Pitching
With these modules, we aimed not only to prepare participants for the final award but also to transform their perspectives on business. Our goal is to help them turn their concept notes into vibrant business plans and to build their confidence and skills to pitch their ideas effectively.
