Shayashone (SYS) had the pleasure of participating in the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), held from November 5–10, 2025, in Shanghai.
The Expo was more than a global marketplace; it was a space where ideas, opportunities, and meaningful partnerships came to life. For our team, it was a chance to share Ethiopia’s story through the agricultural treasures we are proud to bring to the world.
Throughout the week, we connected with passionate industry leaders, government officials, and companies eager to explore Ethiopia’s sesame, pulses, and coffee. Our engagements with the Ethiopian Embassy, partners from Jiangsu Province, and various private-sector organizations were particularly impactful, opening doors for deeper collaboration and future partnerships.
We were encouraged by the strong buyer interest in our Humera sesame, variety of kidney beans, green mung beans, and Sidamo G2 coffee.
Most importantly, CIIE reaffirmed what we’ve always believed: the world is increasingly seeking high-quality, traceable, and sustainably sourced Ethiopian products.
