Shayashone’s (SYS) agribusiness team in collaboration with Strengthening Host and Refugee Populations in Ethiopia (SHARPE) project staff, recently completed a four-day supervision trip to Abobo and Gog districts in Gambella regional state where they visited the work of trained farmers. The SHARPE project aims to promote refugee self-reliance and
economic opportunities for host communities through strategic engagement in various sectors. During the visit, the team witnessed the dedication and progress of the farmers in implementing their training on vegetable production and PICS bag usage. Their resilience and hard work have led to impressive results. Additionally, the team was able to provide further technical advice to address any gaps observed in farm management practices.
