The e-Learning for Strengthening Higher Education (e-SHE), a 5-year initiative led by the Ministry of Education (MoE) in partnership with Mastercard Foundation, Arizona State University (ASU), Shayashone PLC (SYS) and the 50 Ethiopian public universities, celebrated a graduation ceremony at Dire Dawa University.
The graduates were 51 instructors from various public universities in Ethiopia who had completed capacity-building training. The training, provided by Arizona State University Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, aimed at accelerating digital education within higher education institutions.
Along with the graduation ceremony, e-SHE partners reviewed the project’s progress in 2023. Additionally, they had discussions regarding the plan for 2024.
This grand event was held in the presence of key stakeholders and partners, including representatives from the MoE, Mastercard Foundation, ASU, SYS, public universities, and members of the Dire Dawa University Student e-Learning Advisory Group.
